MECS Library

Mi-El Christian School Library is dedicated to serve, and to support, our patrons in a Godly way. We are committed to inspire the school community in a creative and educational ways. Our main goal is to instill in our students the importance of informational literacy, and the love of books.

MECS’s Library is equipped with interesting physical and digital resources. It houses a collection of varied literary genres, in both English and Spanish. That can be accessed in Destiny, our online catalog system.

Elementary students are instructed in Library Skills, on a weekly basis, to support their academic subjects; and to read for pleasure.

Secondary students are welcome to visit the library during recess, or on demand, to carry out research, or to simply enjoy a good book.

In addition to the regular activities, the library offers Book Clubs, on Mondays and Tuesdays, to Elementary and Secondary schoolers.

We thank God Who has provided us with a beautiful and cozy library to meet our students’ needs, in several ways.
