INSIGNIS’18 GRADUATION CEREMONY
MI-EL Christian School celebrated on June 22, the Graduation Ceremony of the Senior class, INSIGNIS 2018.
The act began with a parade of flags from the school and the Dominican Republic, followed by the members of the board, teachers and finally the twenty graduates accompanied by their godparents.
The program included a Worship moment, the community project video presentation, delivery of diplomas and recognitions, words of exhortation from Pastor Vingy Bello and delivery of the Keys to Success to each student by the School Principal, Mrs. Walesca Cano de Ortiz.
The speeches of the graduating class were presented by Thais Pichardo in Spanish and Abril Duarte in English, the students with the highest average in the subjects of Spanish and Language Arts in this school year.
The Academic Excellence medals were awarded to students Benjamín Mejía, Thais Pichardo and Abril Duarte, who maintained an average above 95 points during the four years of High School.
INSIGNIS is the eighth and largest graduating class in the history of MI-EL Christian School.
GRADUACIÓN INSIGNIS 2018
MI-EL Christian School celebró el 22 de junio, la Ceremonia de Graduación de la promoción INSIGNIS 2018.
El acto inició con el desfile de las banderas del colegio y de la República Dominicana, siguiéndoles los miembros de la mesa directiva, maestros y finalmente los veinte graduandos acompañados de sus padrinos y madrinas.
El programa incluyó alabanzas, presentación del video del proyecto comunitario realizado por los estudiantes, entrega de diplomas y reconocimientos, palabras de exhortación del Pastor Vingy Bello y entrega de las llaves del éxito a cada estudiante por parte de la Directora General, la Sra. Walesca Cano de Ortiz.
Los discursos de la clase graduanda fueron presentados por Thais Pichardo en español y Abril Duarte en inglés, estudiantes con mayor promedio en las asignaturas de Lengua Española y Language Arts en este año escolar.
Las medallas de Excelencia Académica fueron otorgadas a los estudiantes Benjamín Mejía, Thais Pichardo y Abril Duarte, quienes mantuvieron un promedio por encima de 95 puntos durante los cuatro años del bachillerato.
INSIGNIS es la octava y más numerosa promoción del MI-EL Christian School hasta el momento.
