Saturday, July 1, 2017 marked a special moment in the history of MI-EL Christian School, when the Blessing Ceremony for the twelfth graders was held for the first time.
This activity, which we envisage will become a beautiful tradition, is intended for our graduates to receive the blessing of their parents as they start a new stage in their lives. During this act the Founder and President of the School Board, Mrs. Walesca Cano de Ortiz addressed the seniors with the following words, “We want to launch the students to God’s purpose in relation to their university career choice, to affirm their adult identity and the qualities of character as children of God”.
The program of the ceremony included a Worship moment, breakfast, a biblical reflection on the Act of Blessing, words from the Academic Director Annie González, and the teacher Elisa Díaz, as well as the delivery of the Talent, David and Esther Award, and High Honor Certification to the students.
This venue was held at the Garden Gallery Salon of the Hotel Embajador, with the presence of the eight Teleios Class students, along with their parents, school directors and professors.

La mañana del sábado 1ro de julio de 2017 marcó un momento especial en la historia de MI-EL Christian School, al celebrarse por primera vez la Ceremonia de Bendición para los estudiantes de Duodécimo Grado.
Esta actividad, la cual vislumbramos se convertirá en una hermosa tradición, tiene como finalidad que nuestros graduandos reciban la bendición de sus padres al estar iniciando una nueva etapa en sus vidas. “En este acto queremos lanzar a los estudiantes al propósito de Dios con relación a la carrera que han de cursar en la universidad, afirmar su identidad adulta y las cualidades del carácter como hijos de Dios”, expresó Walesca Cano de Ortiz, fundadora de MI-EL Christian School.
El programa de la ceremonia incluyó un momento de alabanzas a Dios, un desayuno, una reflexión bíblica sobre el acto de bendecir, palabras de parte de la Directora Académica Annie González, y la maestra Elisa Díaz, así como la entrega de los reconocimientos al talento, David, Esther y Alto Honor a los estudiantes.
Esta actividad se llevó a cabo en el Salón Garden Gallery del Hotel Embajador, a la cual asistieron los ocho estudiantes de la Promoción Teleios 2017 junto a sus padres, directivos del colegio y profesores de los graduandos.
