On September 17th, 2019, students, parents, friends and school staff gathered in the auditorium to witness an awesome performance by the 2020 senior class.
As every year, the senior class organized a presentation to reveal their class name. This year, the students put together an airport-themed decoration, invited a worship group to sing, showed a video with a missionary message, and did a short performance with a mix of Christian music. After the choreography they unveiled a sign with their class name, VALENTIA.
VALENTIA refers to the attitude and determination with which an individual faces and responds to difficult situations. “We feel that God has given us a spirit of courage and power to face any adversity and to enable us to evangelize in every nation in the world” said Sade Lugo, a senior student.
The group chose Joshua 1:9 as their class Bible verse: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
At the end of the presentation, the seniors threw balloons, handed out prizes, and gave away chocolates.

VALENTIA 2020
El 17 de septiembre de 2019, estudiantes, padres, amigos y personal del colegio se reunieron en el auditorio para presenciar el lanzamiento de la promoción 2020.
Como cada año, la clase graduanda realiza una presentación para revelar el nombre de su promoción. Este año, los estudiantes realizaron una decoración temática de aeropuerto, invitaron a un grupo de adoración, mostraron un video con un mensaje misionero e hicieron una coreografía con un mix de música cristiana. Al finalizar, revelaron un letrero con el nombre de su promoción, VALENTIA.
VALENTIA se refiere a la actitud y determinación con la que un individuo enfrenta y responde a situaciones difíciles. “Sentimos que Dios nos ha dado un espíritu de coraje y poder para enfrentar cualquier adversidad y para capacitarnos para evangelizar en todas las naciones del mundo“, expresó Sade Lugo, estudiante de último año.
La promoción escogió Josué 1: 9 como su versículo bíblico lema: “Mira que te mando que te esfuerces y seas valiente; no temas ni desmayes, porque Jehová tu Dios estará contigo en dondequiera que vayas”.
Al final de la presentación, los estudiantes arrojaron globos, repartieron premios a algunos estudiantes y regalaron chocolates.
