On Tuesday, July 28th 2020, MI-EL Christian School celebrated an intimate commencement ceremony for the senior class VALENTIA’20.

Parents and siblings spaced out across the Elim Ministries auditorium had the opportunity to participate in an in-person graduation, with all the protocols and security measures needed.

This graduation also included the Blessing Ceremony, which is another activity the school organizes for the senior class, in order to bless each student and the new stage they will begin in the university. Pastor Fernando Ortiz was in charge of directing that special and significant moment.

The socially distanced ceremony had students walk across the stage to pick up their diplomas and special recognitions. Students Elías Mejía and Sade Lugo had the honor to address the audience on behalf of their class.

The High Honor and Academic Excellence recognitions were delivered to Gabriel Aracena, Rafael Brea, Sade Lugo, and Elías Mejía. The Timothy Award was awarded to Ligia Virgil, who could not attend the event.

The celebration, that was broadcast live on our YouTube channel for the entire community, ended with a brunch for all families.
